Our Farms
Since 2019
OrgaNick Pastures is a network of five family-operated farms across Wisconsin, owned and operated by Nick and Holly Westby. What began with a single farm in Rio and expanded to Marcellon has grown into a multi-farm operation dedicated to producing Certified Humane, pasture-raised organic eggs.

In 2019, Nick purchased 25 acres in Rio, where he built the first barn to house a flock of Hy-Line layer hens, along with an on-site processing facility. In early 2020, the operation expanded to Marcellon, Wisconsin, with the addition of a second farm featuring hens that produce a variety of shell colors, including blue, green, cream, and brown.

Since then, OrgaNick Pastures has continued to grow, adding additional farms, expanding production, and introducing new products—all while maintaining a strong commitment to animal welfare, sustainability, and high-quality farming practices.

Our Story
Local Family Farm
Nick Westby began his career in agriculture as a farmhand when he was in high school at a farm producing organic fertilizer from chicken manure. As he was learning the ropes around the farm, he quickly started imagining where he could find his niche in the industry.

After graduating high school from Poynette, Nick went to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. During college, Nick continued to work on a chicken farm -- this time in Kewaskum -- and he always fixated on finding his own niche in the chicken farming industry.

Nick's creativity led him to consider a few different options, but none were as attractive as setting a new standard as the first certified humane pasture-raised organic egg company in Wisconsin.
